Womens Workout Preview of a Fitness Routine for Members

Length: 37 minutes

  • This outdoor workout is in interval format. It is smokin' hard and will really keep your heart rate up. Try to set your pace and maintain it. Read through the entire workout before starting to be sure you understand everything. make the workout longer by doing the interval training 2x

    You Will Need: A skipping rope, a timer, water, an open park space, good running shoes. Use your water bottle for side pillow hops

  • Warm-Up (7 minutes)
  • Walking at a fast pace 2 min. 2 minutes
    • Walk at a pace that is fast enough that you can say 3-4 words clearly. keep your shoulders relaxed and your stomach muscles squeezed.

  • Jogging moderate pace-2 minutes 2 minutes
    • remember to breath and go at a comfortable pace

  • Square Hops Left 30 seconds
    • hop on the left foot in the shape of a square always jumping in the same direction.
    • Hold the arms out at horizontal for the duration of the exercise

  • Knee lifts across the body 1 minute
    • Start with your legs slightly apart facing forward.
    • Jump and thrust your left knee up and across your body to touch the palm of your right hand. Lift your knee to waist height Perform on the same leg 2x then repeat on the other side.
    • Tip: Keep your back as straight as possible and lift your knee instead of lowering your chest.

  • Square Hops Right 30 seconds
